Why Link Exchange is so important?

July 22, 2010 - 12:31 pm

All the search engines basically determine the rankings through the links that a website and its sub-pages has. In case of link exchange quality is more important than the quantity. By exchanging links with good and optimized websites, it helps the websites to get the top rankings for their prime keywords in search engines. Text links are the most important than the image links, because search engines can read and understand texts, but ignores images. Link exchange will be beneficial for both the websites that has exchanged links externally (outside own website). A single link from a related website is more important than hundreds of links from completely unrelated websites. So, quality and similar related websites links are the basic theory to determine the search engine rankings.

A complete solution on how to exchange links? in step by step method for beginners.

Use text links, avoid image links.

Anyhow, if you have used image links, then always make sure to put your keywords in the alt tags.

Put your prime keywords in text links and always insure to put a short descriptions of your website/page in minimum of 20-30 words or more if allowed.

In text links if you are not allowed to add descriptions then always try to put a short descriptions in title tag. E.g.:hover your mouse over the text Link Exchange Tips, No Tricks

Avoid repetition of keywords, repetition will lead to low rankings.

Always try to exchange links from related websites (e.g. if you have a football league website, then a link from other sports websites will be known as related website links)

Never, exchange links with unrelated websites/pages.

Always ensure that the website that you are exchanging links with, is well optimized and has a good content.

Never try to exchange links in quick sessions. Since search engines ignores or does not index those sites who gets bundles of links in quick time.

Give your link exchange works few hours every day, to ensure that you get limited but quality links.

Mainly for new websites, avoid exchanging bundles of links in quick sessions.

Avoid creating a link/links.html file, since search-engines do not index link/links.html files, often.

Always make a ‘resources’ (any appropriate name) folder and create an index.html file for that named folder and create appropriate html files for appropriate links going into them. (a sort of web-directory)

Never, never exchange links with pages bearing more than 50 back-links. Generally 25 is appropriate and should not be more than two clicks away from the index/main page.

Always ensure yourself that the page/website you are exchanging link is being indexed by the search engines or not.

Also ensure on your own that the page/website you are exchanging link with, is not being blocked by any scripts, or disallowed by robots.txt, or disallowed by using noindex, nofollow on html page.

Avoid linking to those tricky and false websites, and if possible inform already linked websites about the matter and ask them for link-exchange, if related to your websites.

Links from the main/index page of the related website is the most quality link that a website can get. But, never try to place more than 20 back-links in index/main page.

Exchanging links with your competitor’s back linking website/pages are also the quality links that a website can get.

Never post your website links to FFA, Guestbook, or other unrelated areas. Since search-engines completely ignores such links and may penalize your website.

Site bearing good Google page rank are appropriate for link-exchange. Generally 4+ Google page rank is great for link-exchange.

Exchanging links with old website is excellent.

Link exchanging with new websites, with decent Google ranking at first, but bears quality contents and is well optimized, is also an excellent option for exchanging-links, since new websites bears less outgoing links than the old websites.

While exchanging links for homepage of your website, also try to exchange links for sub-pages of it, for better ranking for that particular sub-page.

Personal verification of the linking partner’s website is recommended.

Check for total incoming and outgoing links for whole website or for particular sub-pages of your linking partner’s website and off course of your own before getting link exchanged.

Top SEO Tips Tricks and Techniques, to Max Out Your Adsense Account

Top SEO Tips Tricks and Techniques, to Max Out Your Adsense Account

There are some simple but very effective SEO tricks to max out your Adsense account. This article will discuss what they are also show you how easily optimize your Adsense web pages with the highest paying keywords, in just a matter of minutes. You’ve probably heard of SEO, since it’s very hot right now. It stands for Search Engine Optimization. SEO is the process of increasing the amount of visitors to a site by designing the site content so that the site ranks high in the search results of a search engine.

The higher a Web site ranks in the results of a search, the greater the chance that a user will visit that site. Let’s face it, most people are lazy. They’re not going to spend time clicking and scanning tons of pages of search results. Therefore, where a site ranks in a web search is absolutely critical for directing more traffic toward the site. SEO helps to make sure that a site is accessible to a search engine and improves the chances that the site will be found by the search engine. To understand how this works, you need to know a little bit about how search engines work. Typically, a search engine sends out a spider to fetch as many documents as it can. Then another program, called an indexer, reads these documents and makes an index based on the words each document contains. Each search engine uses a unique proprietary algorithm to create indexes so that hopefully only meaningful results are returned for each query. These indexers compute the keyword density.

Keyword density refers to the how often a certain word appears in a given document. It’s given as a percentage. Let’s say you have a site about running shoes. A keyword density of 7% on “running” on that web page means that out of 1000 words, 70 of them are “running.” Unfortunately, the quick-buck con artists have figured this out, and they will put up a site that has a front page that is totally littered with keywords. To give you an idea, a normal key word density for the main key words is about 3 to 7%. What these people will do is have something insane like a 25% keyword density on their front page. Then that page ranks #1 in search engine results when users search for that word. Once the user is on the entry page, they’re likely to enter the site. Pornographers do this by putting up sites that have content like: Sex, sex, sex. Sex is here. You want sex. We have sex. Pix of sex, lots of sex. See how annoying that gets? Search engines used to use meta-tags to search for web sites. This was nice, since the meta-tag was a hidden area of your page where you could put all the relevant keywords and not have to worry about making your content sound awkward by overusing certain words.

Things to Consider There are many things to consider when you go to put keywords in the text of your pages. Most search engines index the full text of each page, so you should put your keywords throughout your text. However, each search engine uses different ranking algorithms. And that’s the really hard part–difficult though it may be, you need to keep all of them in mind. General rules Your main page should be full of keywords because that page has a higher chance of being indexed than other pages. And for some search engines, it will be the only page that is indexed. Some engines will rank your page highly if it has at least 100 words on it, so consider that your minimum. Directories include pages based on the quality of their content, so make sure your pages aren’t just lists of keywords.

If you do that, you risk not getting in the big directories AND you will irritate readers-they won’t come back. Important design concepts When you create your pages’ content, pay attention to: Keyword prominence Proximity Density Frequency The thing about keyword prominence is that the best place to place keywords in your text is at the top of each page, preferably the main page. The closer your keywords appear to the start of the page or the start of a sentence, the better. You’ll frequently see “keyword prominence” used to describe search engines’ algorithms. Be aware that some engines also say the bottom of the page should contain keywords as well

Tips To Increase Site Rankins Through Using A Link Building Service

Here are some basic principles to be enforced to help increase web site traffic and search site rankings if you decide not to hire a time saving Link Building Service Company.  My recommendation is that you do outsource the maximum amount of the work load as possible to avoid becoming overwhelmed, and eventually, quitting.  With that under consideration, let’s get started.

1.  Make a web site with valuable content, products.  This is the first thing you should do.  You need to give your clients a reason to visit your site.  What are you offering them?  If you are unsure, figure this out first.

2.  Place primary and secondary keywords within the first 25 words in your page content and spread them evenly throughout the document.

three.  Research and use the best keywords / phrases to attract your target shoppers.

4.  Use your keywords in the right fields and references in your web page.  Like Title, META tags, Headers, for example.

5.  Keep your internet site design easy so that your clients can navigate simply between net pages, find what they want and buy products and services.

6.  Submit your internet pages i.e.  Every net page and not just the home page, to the most popular search engines and directory services.  Hire a Link Building Service to do so, if required.  Be certain this is a manual submission.  Don’t engage an automated submission service.

7.  Keep track of changes in search website algorithms and processes and accordingly modify your web pages so your search website ranking remains high.  Use online tools and resources to keep track of how your internet site is doing.  If you employed a Link Building Service, they’ll do this for you.

8.  Monitor your competitors and the top ranked sites to see what they are doing right in the way of design, navigation, content, keywords, and so on.

nine.  Use reports and logs from your website hosting company to see where your traffic is coming from.  Investigate your visitor location and their in-going sources whether search engines or links from other sites and the keywords they used to find you.

10.  Make your customer visit straightforward and give them plenty of paths to remember you in the shape of newsletters, free reports, reduction coupons and so on.

11.  Demonstrate your industry and service or product experience by writing and submitting articles for your internet site or for article banks so you are understood as a guru in your field.  A good Link Building Service will also provide these services, should you decide to hire one.

12.  When selling products online, use straightforward payment and shipment strategies to make your customer’s's experience fast and easy.  They are more likely to come back if they had a good experience with you.

thirteen.  When not sure, hire pros.  A top notch Link Building Service may seem costly, but it’s a lot more cost effective than spending your money on an internet site which no one visits, and thus, no sales are made.

14.  Don’t look at your internet site as a static leaflet.  Treat it as a dynamic, fast-changing sales tool and location, just like your real store to which your clients with the same seriousness.

Clifinar SEO Seminar & SEO Tips & Tricks

Clifinar SEO Seminar & SEO Tips & Tricks

In the last few weeks the internet has been filling up with a strange and interesting phenomenon. Had you searched the keyword Clifinar in any of the major search engines: Google, Yahoo and MSN, you would have received a blank page. But now, just 3 weeks later, you can see 10,700 results in Google, 5,550 results in MSN Live and in Yahoo! there are 33,200 results.

This is the work of just 20 individuals who are fighting for the number 1 position on Google’s search engine by the 10th of June 2008. The Clifinar Contest was born in order to put into practice what Clifton teaches in Clifinar SEO Seminars.

SEO is a tricky business. One day you’re up there and the next, you’re not. The traffic that comes from position 1 is equivalent to money. It’s a gamble and you cannot rest for one minute. You can never know for sure what your competitors are doing and how much of it they are doing. However, if you keep your eyes and ears open, you will continuously learn new ways of optimizing your website for search engines. In the Clifinar we are taught new creative ways to keep our clients in top positions on even the most competitive keywords.

So, you have a website, that’s great, but how are you going to get visitors to it? You need to get search engines to index your site so that it will appear on the search engine result pages when someone searches for a keyword relevant to your website. But it isn’t enough just to be indexed, you need to be the first 2 or 3 pages of the search engine to actually get any traffic. Ideally you should be on the first page in one of the top positions.

As taught in the Clifinar, the first important SEO activity is to make your website search engine friendly. That means that the structure of the site should contain Meta tags. Meta tags are placed at the head part of the html page and should contain the keyword you are trying to promote on your web page. You should have a meta title, Description and short list of keywords. Your meta tags should be readable by humans and don’t stuff them with keywords. Remember that the keywords you have chosen need to appear in the text of the page as well.

We’ve all heard that “Content is king”. But what does that mean? These days it isn’t enough that you have content on your website you need to have content about your particular subject all over the internet. That means you should spread your relevant content on article sites, PR sites, Blogs, Social networking sites, wikipedia, wikihow and other sites that allow you to build information pages with links. Don’t forget, all the content must be original.

This brings us to the next important SEO activity: linking. Linking is important because it shows the search engines that other people on other websites like your site and are recommending it. The websites you get links from affect the strength of your link. The best sites you can get links from are .edu, .gov and .org sites because they are usually regarded to be of high quality by search engines, but they are also the most difficult to get links from. It’s also good when your link comes from a website that has content that is relevant to your website’s but check the popularity of the site, the Google page rank and the quality of the site. When you ask for a link, make sure you get a link on a keyword that is important to you and not just a url or “click here”.

Directory submissions are another important SEO activity. There are free and paid online directories which supply links to your website. You should create links from both free and paid directories.

There are many other SEO activities that you can do and on the internet, if you are intent on getting the word out there, find out about SEO from forums, blogs and websites that provide information about the subject. And of course, attending conferences and Clifinar will help as well.
